Prospectus of S1 English Language and Literature

S1 graduate of English Language and Literature equipped with knowledge, ethics, skills and English skills in general and for specific purposes or professionals in various fields such as tourism, export-import business, hospitality, travel agency, banking, secretarial, language courses, translation , corner-bahasaan, film translation, mass communication and public relations.

English Language and Literature graduates not only have the skills and knowledge of linguistics and English literature, but also able to apply these skills in productive activities and community service are professionals in various fields to understand the basic principles of knowledge and skills in English and scientific basis and methodology research so as to find, understand, explain and solve the problem with the English Language and Literature; has the ability to apply the knowledge and skills for productive activities and community service; possesses an open and responsive to the development of science and technology and socio-cultural environment, especially with regard with English Language and Literature; able to do research in the field of English Language and Literature by using the scientific method, and be able to communicate and be accountable for the results of research on scientific principles.

Basic competence Bachelor of English Language and Literature is having quality and intellectual integrity; highly competitive both academically and morally; able to adjust to the changes; realize that science is always advancing and evolving; able to browse and obtain scientific information; know how and can constantly learning; handling each problem, was able to uncover the structure and core issues and set priorities stages of completion; know and can take advantage of the usefulness of information technology can apply science and knowledge; proficient and skilled in the areas of English Language and Literature; may solve problems logically, utilize data / information available; able to use these concepts to explain things that are not / less clear; able to work independently and effort; able to actively participate in the working group; able to communicate with experts in other areas of expertise and utilize their help; able to effectively utilize the resources available; able to start forming units stub entrepreneur in the field of Language and Literature, able to follow new developments in the field of English Language and Literature, conduct research, or study program at the level further.Bachelor of English Language and Literature work and a career in all government and non-government (private), local, national, regional, and international levels; able to work and a career in a company engaged in a variety of fields such as tourism, export-import business, hospitality , travel agency, banking, secretarial, language courses, translation, corner-bahasaan, film translation, mass communication, and public relations; as a professional translator, tour guide, secretary, manager / administrative staff, manager / customer service staff, practitioners language, the leader of the event (MC), presenter / broadcaster, researcher, lecturer / teacher, etc.

Prospectus of D3 English

English Diploma Program aims to educate and develop national experts who are knowledgeable and responsive to the development of the international community, independent and more emphasis on skills and application of knowledge in the field of English language and work.Main competence :

• Understanding the rules of the English language adequately as targeted in the curriculum.
• Have practical skills in English both spoken and written varieties seen in the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Being able to write scientific papers in English.

Supporting competence :

• Communicative skills in a variety of communicative situations and cultural situation and aware of etiquette that must be followed.
• Being able to be a mediator in the process of bilingual communication.
• Able to apply skills in the field of English language: English Education, Media, Management and Business Administration, Tourism, and Public Relations.
• Able to create media products that require medium of English.
